A: IEEE 802.3af/at/bt compliant PoE injectors will not injury any equipment even if the gear is just not designed for PoE applications. The injector initiates a handshake procedure before it sends any energy to the linked PD. That process utilizes low voltage and is harmless to any related machine, PoE, or non-PoE.
